Talk of the Town is honored to announce our exciting menu item, created just for the 6th annual “Harvest on the ‘Hooch” at The Chattahoochee Nature Center: October 15th from 1-4 pm.
Our small plate dish, a modern play on a classic holiday meal, is:
Turkey Leg Confit, with Basil Mashed Potatoes
Cornbread Stuffing Crostini
Served with Roasted Chestnut Gravy and Cranberry Gastrique
Just in time for fall, we are proudly highlighting the season’s flavors with this delicious creation in a small plate format that combines traditional recipes, local fresh ingredients, and advanced culinary methodologies.
This dish is packed with all the flavor of a classic Thanksgiving feast in just few delectable bites. We use modern techniques, such as sous-vide, to render the most flavor from each ingredient. Each dish is hand crafted and garnished to please the eyes and the taste buds!
Talk of the Town is thrilled to, once again, be part of “Harvest on the ‘Hooch”– we have done so every year since it began in 2011. This event is an opportunity to create and share flavor combinations and presentations that most of our clients have never tasted before! And, it allows us to enjoy being part of supporting the greater good at the Chattahoochee Nature Center’s Unity Garden, which, in turn, provides 4 tons of fresh produce each year to North Fulton Community Charities food pantry!
In past years, our chefs have created a variety of different dishes, such as a Seared Quail Roulade, Sweet Potato Ravioli and Apple Fennel Vichyssoises.
We can’t wait to see you at “Harvest on the ‘Hooch” in just a couple of weeks!
