A June wedding at the newly opened Kaya Vineyard and Winery was a warm and loving event, which was incredibly delicious and flawlessly executed, thanks to the work of so many talented professionals and the couple’s loving family.
Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events, exclusive caterer at Kaya, was honored to make this special day just perfect for Jen and Ryan. Photographs by Moreland Photography showcase how incredible this venue is for weddings and just how delectable Talk of the Town’s wedding catering is!

I really enjoyed the balance of how warm and loving the event was, while feeling so natural and open in this expansive, pastoral setting! We even created a little intimate hideaway for the couple in Kaya’s Barrel Room so they could enjoy a few quiet moments together on their most special day! Set amongst so many gorgeous backdrops, Jen, Ryan and their guests enjoyed a full day of pampered celebration and a feeling of a true destination wedding at Kaya Vineyard & Winery. The sun shone, the vines were in full bloom, incredible cuisine and Talk of the Town’s extraordinary guest service abounded at every turn.
The lovely ceremony was held on Kaya’s covered pavilion with sweeping views of the North Georgia Mountains and was followed by a phenomenal gourmet meal served in the custom-tented reception area that offered guests a chance to mingle and celebrate Jen and Ryan in the fresh mountain air!
The menu served by Talk of the Town’s gracious and professional staff, included chef-created items such as:
- Mini Beef Wellington with Champagne Mustard
- Raspberry, Pistachio and Brie en Croute
- Island Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers
- Bourbon Peppercorn Flank Steak
- Maple Roasted Turkey Breast
- Sunshine Salad
- Grilled Summer Vegetables
- Our Famous Lobster Mac & Cheese
- Talk of the Town’s Signature Berry Martini
The bride’s mother, Joan, was so thrilled with the event and her note to Peggy reflected it!
“The food was amazing! Our friends are still talking about that fabulous Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Berry Martini desserts. Thank you for all your epicurean delights! We enjoyed every bite!”
And, as a little thank you to the guests, the couple had a box of donuts and our very own Thrive Coffee in take-away cups ready for them to enjoy on the way home after all that wonderful celebrating of Jen and Ryan’s wedding!
