It’s always our pleasure to be part of weddings and it brings us additional joy when we hear that our very special couples and their guests were thrilled with our services!
Our very talented Georgina Mathews had the privilege of working with Amanda and Josh Porter to create their perfect wedding day at the Chattahoochee Nature Center this past summer. It was a gorgeous affair that celebrated not just this lovely couple, but the flavors of the season!
Georgina was awesome! She spent hours listening to our vision for the reception and made helpful suggestions in both the menu and decor categories. The day of the wedding, Georgina worked seamlessly with our florist, wedding planner, and family to create a beautiful evening with our favorite people. The two most frequent compliments I have received are that the food was delicious and the attention to detail was amazing. I thank Georgina for both of those compliments.
The warm, sunny June day provided the perfect backdrop at this gorgeous venue, where the couple brought touches of rustic elegance and tranquility to the event, which was filled with love.
Georgina was honored to be part of this most special day. “Samantha and Josh brought so much attention to detail to their wedding planning that it was a fun collaboration from start to finish. Their shared vision of what they wanted made the whole event something really wonderful. I especially loved the way they worked in elements of nature like the tree stump cake stand and gorgeous and lush flower arrangements, which worked seamlessly with the setting at the Chattahoochee Nature Center!”
Amanda says, “My favorite part of the wedding day was the use of summer herbs throughout the event. Lavender, sage, rosemary, mint, and thyme were used in the bouquet, food, drinks, and as part of the decor. Our gift to guests was potted herbs for them to take home and plant in their gardens.”
