There is no better way to celebrate Valentine’s weekend than to enjoy our loved ones and help a great cause!
This Friday, February 13th, Talk of the Town and Roswell Founders Hall will proudly be hosting and catering the Inaugural Hearts for Honduras fundraiser to Benefit Lunches for Learning, an organization that has one simple aim – to keep as many Honduran children in school by providing a lunch program for the students.
Most Honduran children drop out of school by the sixth grade, due to extreme poverty, and these children often end up begging for money or jobs.
The event promises to be the perfect way to enjoy the best catering in Atlanta at one of the most beautiful venues in Historic Roswell, along with a live band, auction items and a full bar, as well as beer by City Gate Brewing, in advance of it’s opening this month!
A recent article in the Roswell Neighbor gives all of the event details.
Tickets are $100 and it only takes “$150 a year to feed a child,” says Chris Archer of Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events.
The menu that will be served by Talk of the Town for this event will include many delicious items. To name a few:
Passed Hors D’oeuvres:
- Smoked Salmon and Dill Tartlets
- Sliced Quail Breast on a Mini Fried Green Tomato with Onion Marmalade
Action Stations:
- Herbed Grilled Bistro Tenderloin served with Smashed New Potatoes and Red Wine Mushroom Jus
- Curried Shrimp and Coconut sautéed in Ginger Carrot and Coconut Sauce Over Jasmine Rice
