With over 20 years as one of the top caterers in Atlanta, and dozens of accolades and awards, Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events has undergone an ownership transition from Chris Archer to Executive Chef Andrew Brackner.
Chris and Andrew have worked side-by-side for 7 years, leading Talk of the Town’s dedicated and exceptionally professional staff in its pursuit of catering excellence. The two will continue to work together to carry on both the company’s growth and leadership in the catering industry.
Chris Archer, after 18 years of ownership of Talk of the Town, will now serve as its Venue Relationship Manager, working closely with the finest venues in Atlanta and North Georgia, as well as event professionals, to grow the business’ relationships and opportunities. He says of his new role,
“I am so happy to continue to be a part of Talk of the Town and contribute to its continued success and growth. The family here is like none other and we are all very excited to work with Chef Andrew Brackner to help him take Talk of the Town to even greater success.”
Richard Boughton, who joined Talk of the Town in 2012, will continue to serve as our General Manager. His role includes overseeing the production of catered events, as well as working alongside Andrew and Chris to provide excellence in leadership for the company. Richard is looking forward to all of the great new things to come at Talk of the Town with a continued focus on what really matters.

Chef Andrew Brackner, Executive Chef and Owner of Talk of the Town, held positions with The Ritz-Carlton, Perdido Beach Resort, Peters Italian Restaurant, as well as a summa cum laude degree from Le Cordon Bleu before coming to Talk of the Town. He has been wowing clients and their guests with the most innovative menus available in Atlanta’s catering scene. The entire culinary staff at Talk of the Town has blossomed under his leadership and the sales team is able to showcase incredible offerings because of his creativity.
Chef Andrew says, “I’m both excited and honored to have been selected to carry forward Talk of the Town’s leadership responsibilities as its owner. Chris has been, and will continue to be, at the heart of our company. His generosity of spirit and willingness to grow the business in original ways is the reason I am here. We all thank him for his years of dedicated leadership and are grateful that he will be here to continue to help us innovate and expand.”
Chef Andrew will actively continue in his role as Executive Chef, while Trey Gunning will still serve as Chef de Cuisine at Talk of the Town. Andrew says, “I can’t imagine not being part of the creation of our amazing menu items and working with clients to realize their vision of a perfect event.”
