As usual, it’s gonna be a hot and fun 4th of July! Whether you’re headed to the lake, your favorite hiking spot or your own backyard, be sure you make it a fresh and easy time as far as your menu goes!

In addition to the post we did a little while back on food safety for picnicking we are offering here a few little menu ideas that we think your family and friends will love!

We are partial to our amazing Great South BBQ selection of delicious grilled and smoked items! Talk of the Town owner and Executive Chef, Andrew Brackner, has a few all-time favorite menu items for the 4th of July from our Great South BBQ menus, including these delectable items that can be ordered any day of the year!

“Great South” BBQ Pulled Pork with Spicy House BBQ Sauce
We use only the finest cuts of bone-in pork shoulder that is brined for 24 hours
in our special salt, sugar, and spice recipe. The meat is rubbed with our secret
BBQ dry rub and smoked for 12 hours over the perfect blend of hardwood

Our Famous Grilled Whole Bone-In Chicken or
Boneless Chicken Breast with Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce

We use only all-natural fresh chicken that we marinate for 12 hours
in a blend of salt, sugar, and spices before being roasted in our hardwood smoker
