Talk of the Town’s owner, Chef Andrew Brackner believes that in order for us to maintain our status as one of the top catering companies in all of Atlanta and North Georgia, there needs to be a constant commitment to looking for new ideas and having employees who feel valued and appreciated.
Just one example of this was Andrew’s invitation to 9 TOTT staff to attend the 2017 Catersource, which was held in New Orleans this month, marking the 25th anniversary of this industry-leading event.
To make sure that our valued TOTT staff and clients get the most from the entire Catersource experience, Andrew included sales & event, culinary, staffing and logistics team members as part of the company’s delegation to this annual industry event.
At the event, TOTT’s representatives took several classes from and networked with the industry’s leading professionals in topics including:

- Innovative Menu Items
- New Buffet and Decor Trends
- Coolest New Catering Equipment
- Catering Management Insights
- Employee and Staffing Training
- Employee satisfaction and recognition programs
- Team building
But the TOTT team didn’t miss out on New Orleans while enjoying these classes, they also got to enjoy culinary adventures around this incredibly diverse and delicious city with top catering colleagues from across the country!
Andrew has tasked our staff who attended to create presentations for the entire TOTT team including their takeaways and new ideas for TOTT. Based on each presentation, there will be company-wide discussions and brainstorming of even more creative and innovative things that we will implement!
